I got the idea for this new weekly post from my good friend Eddi Haskell who does his * Seen around the Scene * spot which I know people love and a blog which I look at everyday The Sartorialist which I am sure you know does fashion shots of fashion shows, and famous people and everyday people, which is the bit I love the best.
I have been seeing many people wandering around the grid who look great, wonderful and/or totally amazing and thought it might be fun, to make a weekly spot of it.
I saw this incredible avi at Zero Style, when I was looking for some new hair.
I really wanted to call this spot on my blog the SL Sartoralist, but somehow I just thought I would get into serious trouble, so I chose something less likely to drop me in the shit.
This gorgeous dress comes from Aleida, it is called Whispy, I am showing it to you in plum in these photos. It is really beautifully textured and comes with a really nice attachment for around your neck, I normally take these off as, I don't think they often look good, often look heavy and awkward, but not in this case I am happy to say, Ale has made it look terrific, probably because it is a light fabric texture, it just works.
For the rest of the outfit, I matched it up with boots also from Aledia also in plum, and to add some quirkiness to the outfit, I added these legging from Bijou. ( I don't know if the shop has closed yet, but I know it was having a 50% of Sale). Also I added Exile hair Love Story, Exile is also having a sale I think on certain hairstyles.

This is my 100th post for Suede Design Studio, I wanted to do something which was really me... now in Real Life I am a huge Sci-fi geek, I love them all, the bad quality special effects, wooden acting, and really rotten storylines, but of course now with CCG and multi-millon dollar budgets.. the Sci-fi movie is now at whole new level, so I decided to pay homage to the original Sci-fi Movie
So my take on it is a little different, but I am sure the future is not too far away. I found all these cool robotic attachments at a Japanese anime sim, which was really fun to wander around in. I bought a few other things too.. mainly those Japanese heads, which I think I can have some fun with soon, already got some ideas.
The second I put it this gorgeous new release from Alieda on I thought Ballet dancer, even though this outfit is obviously not a ballet dancing costume, the skirt and bodice with it's delicate laces and overlaid lacework could be a costume from a lavish production.
This lovely outfit comes in two colours black and white, the ensemble can be worn as a pantsuit or a dress, I have chosen the dress version for this post, but the pantsuit is also very very cute. The work along the bodice is just incredible. Time and effort have been spent making this just right, and it really shows. The outfit also comes with a huge bow for your head, but I didn't wear it for this picture, but it is a great haute couture accessory for the Jean Paul Gaultier in all of us.
Just on a side note, I got the idea for this post from this week's LA Times Magazine it has a beautiful picture on the front of Mila Kunis in a similar pose on a chair.

It's been a while since I did fantastic build post, but when I visited Plastik I suddenly remembered why I love the creativity I see in Second Life. It is a very detailed build, full of character and atmosphere, you use the tp boards to travel between lanterns and departments.
I went to see Crysanthemum skin, which I saw in another post by Annalesca Ashbourne, I tried on the demo skin, I am still deciding on it, I am a terrible fusspot when it comes to skins, I like to still look like me.
So anyway back to Plastik's build which is so great, espically as we just had Chinese New Year, wish I done this post on last Wednesday which was Chinese New Year.
Islands are home to the stores, one hosting a huge gnarled tree, with huge lanterns hanging from it's old worn branches, it's just waiting to topple into the sea, where your avi can get eaten by the sea serpent. The birds watch and wait.......
So Aledia reopened, and omg.. what a lot of excellent stuff, I was drooling in the store, So it is gonna be homage to Ale for at least the next couple of posts... so first off I bring you.

So Fab.pony has a great sale on anything black, including hair, for 50% off which is such a bargain you can never have too much black. Myth where I got these superfreak jeans, has a closing sale for 30L for everything and they are transfer items, buy everything 10 times and then give them to people for next Christmas ( whoops - did I say that out loud, mybad). My shoes are from Armidi, which I bought at that warehouse sale a few months back, don't know if they are still available on the Armidi website, you can check. The shoes I am wearing on the blue are the group gift from Purrfect 10, and the top is from the Dressing Room Blue.

So my friend's club had a theme event based around Tinys, Although I have always known about them, I never took much interest, they are a little bit too sweet for my taste, but still it's important to try something new. So I purchased myself a little Hamster, Hammalina Hamster you can call me from now on, I got it from Wynxworks who does seem to be the premier Tiny Avatar creator, the store had tons of different choices, My friend bought a sheep, very cute well it was until he also bought a tiny bazooka and some combat gear and a Tiny fistfight Hud from Abranimations . Watch out it is BaaRamboEwe.. and no I did not make that name up myself.
Well my little nekkid hamster needed some clothes and I went wandering and found Tiny Ruffles, I liked that shop a very cute red dress for Chinese New Year for only 13L and a couple of Gifties.
So I spent one evening finding out all about Tinys and I found this incredible video on Youtube filled with Tiny Dancers, lot of blogs on lifestyle and clothing and just tons of stuff, I am worried now that there is gonna be a coup d'état and we gonna be overrun by avatars who just want to be cuddled, but I digress..smiles
