I love all shades of creme and ecru, as it is a very soft feminine look. I saw this lovely top from Indie rose, it comes on all layers with a plain white top you can wear underneath for layering or actually just by itself, which is a bonus freebie in my opinion.

So I loved the print on this top, I really like Amaryllis in real life, and the flowers really remind me of them.

I also have trousers which match the top, but I decided it was all too plain and so I swapped out the top for a corset I have from Chic Boutique, as I remember it was a giftie, but I got it a very very long time ago, this designer makes her items, transfer, my personal preference so you can keep them forever. I also splashed out and bought sandals from Maitreya, because being the colour scripted change whore I am , I cannot resist things with options.

So this is just me messing around trying out new poses that I have, and a hair I bought on impluse buy, Oh and some boots, I found in my inventory which I don't remember buying.

I don't have many Red Queen styles, I always try them and then think ahhhh...not me.. but this one.. I really like, probably cause the Bandana is colour change.

So anyway, One thing I did want to mention about Opium where I picked up the boots, is that it offers you permissions, you can choose between copy/mod and transfer. I love that, please please let more designers try it.. I think it is a great business model.

The boots are scripted and you can change them to a variety of colours and straps and base and heel are all scripted so you can have boots for every season.

Lime and Mary

So this is a bit of a combo post, I am trying to do my entry for the Lime week of Luna's 52 weeks of colour and also profile my take on the new giftie skin from Glam Affair.

When I put the dress on, I thought immediately of Diana Ross and the Supremes in the 60's performing in those evening dresses with bob haircuts.. so pretty and so I went for that look in my photos.I really love this dark skin, I often find that darker shades are kinda uneven in places, but this skin is very nice.. smooth the shadows and highlights are just perfectly done. I really didnt see anything about the skin, which I was disappointed by.

I often visit Virtual Harlem, when I am looking for locations for a period shoot, it has a wonderful 1920's feel to it and lots of atmosphere, and as you can see in the back ground *The Cotton Club* if you wander around this sim, there are quite a few photo locations which are really nice, espically with the windlight settings on fog or similar, it gets a very, smokey look. Works very well. :)

I decided to try out the only skin I bought at the skin fair with a variety of hair colours, as you can see the result is pretty good, Meggan blends very nicely with my LAQ hairbase and eyebrows, and looks really good with any hair colour. This is the only skin I have with teeth showing, I wasn't really sure but I think it does look good, so I am pleased with the end result.

Indie Rose.. Boho Chiffon

I went to see a store that was featured on the feeds and whilst I was there, I wandered around the sim and found this cute shop, **Indie Rose** the designer is called Angelina Eizenberg-Oxhall Anyway back to the store which did a few things I just adored the first one is this chiffon Boho dress, I bought it in black from the store and went away and then found the cream version in a special section on the sim, for only 50L so I went ahead and bought that as well.

I am showing you both versions here with a little help from my friend photoshop.
I think the top alone will also cool really nice with jeans and I have a long plain skirt in white which I am thinking would make a hip Hippie* look for the summer.

I did have to adjust the prims on the skirt to fit me.. big bum.. .and but it was pretty painless.

Sapphire Marilyn From Purple Moon

New release from Purple Moon * Marilyn* is this incredible dress with a shaped sculpted skirt, I am showing it to you in this wonderful sapphire blue. It has a banded bodice, with a pearl insert pattern and a lovely rose which sits on your hip. I really liked the subtle silky insert just at the top of the bodice, it is these small touches which always add to the gown.

The skirt is so incredible, the texture is beautiful it catches the light, and looks wonderful from every angle. The high slit in the skirt shows off those picture perfect legs, and is very sexy.
The skirt is very long and you can see from these photos, it trails behind you beautifully.

I love autumn colours and I really like this outfit from Chain and Vine, I actually picked it up when I got the skins a couple of weeks back, but hadn't got around to blogging it yet. So this outfit is actually a mix of two, which I bought in the same shade, first is Grabber which is the floaty top and the skirt and the second is Edda which is the transparent hip length tunic.

Hair is the second new Truth Style that I bought also in Auburn and boots are from Mon Tissu, I am sure you recognize them, I think half the grid has them already,but I don't mind cause they are really really well made. I am also wearing the new giftie skin from Belleza, Melissa in the sunkissed tone.

So basically I just put the tunic under the top to give full body cover and to make it look more like a dress than a top and a skirt. Actually I had trouble with the skirt to make it fit, I am a bit big in the bottom and it was time consuming to make it fit. but it did in the end and it was worth it.

I found this beautiful wooden carousel behind the stores and took a couple of shots on it, the horses were really well done and it was fun to take a ride on a pony, haven't been to the fair in a 1000 years in RL. ( always loved it as a child)

I noticed that quite a few bloggers have a male alt, and/or male shape that they use to showcase male clothes, or to be an extra player in their photos. I really thought about it for a while and decided I wanted to play along as well.

I knew the look I wanted, I wanted to model My *Man* on British Model Will Chalker, There are not many Blonde or Ginger men in Second Life, I thought it would make a nice change. The perfect skin for the job was Johan from Belleza, but for the shape, now that will make or break my avatar.
